CMHC Mult-Unit Underwriting Course

The workshop has been prepared to teach the highest underwriting standards following the submission guidelines expected by a CMHC approved lender/mortgage broker, as outlined in the workshop overview

Cost -  between  $710+ HST per agent min 8 agents.  We will confirm.

The training includes, as I mentioned on our call, all the supporting documents mandatory by CMHC to include in every submission, the submission template created to maintain quality and speed up the CMHC underwriting process and guides;

1. Submission Template (to use for purchase, refinance, new construction deals).
2. Supporting documents checklist (mandatory with each application).                                                                                           
3. The CMHC rent roll template (mandatory with each application).
4. The COI request form.
5. The Correspondent Handbook (over 100 pages of what CMHC expect you (the broker or approved lender) to know, prior to submitting, during the application analysis and after the loan is disbursed).
6. The Multi-Unit Decision Tree (this outlines the Risk Mitigations CMHC expects you to know and present in your recommendation).
7. The CMHC Real Estate Portfolio EXCEL (mandatory with each application).
8. The CMHC Benchmarks for 2023-2024.
9. All the guides provided to the correspondents for Standard Rental Housing and MLI products.
10. File review at the end of the workshop (bring as many as you want)
11. File review post-training, at no extra cost my team and I will review your file prior to submitting to CMHC

During the training we go through all these documents in detail so that you know how to use them and maintain quality compliance. After the training you also have access to the recording of the session.

The workshop includes support for one file post workshop and 3 months of continued ongoing support.
